Sheena
Sheena's passion for culture and connection is at the heart of her love for travel and the reason she has dedicated her career to helping others experience the world. Her first international trip in 2000 to Asia ignited her desire to explore more of the world and assist others in doing the same. Sheena embarked on her 20-year career in travel as a sales executive in the Africa division of a US tour operator. There, she collaborated with overseas suppliers to design unique cultural experiences for clients who chose to explore the continent, making Africa one of Sheena’s specialties.
Committed to staying informed on behalf of her clients, Sheena is an advocate for continuous learning in her industry. She regularly attends trade conferences, participates in destination training, and has led groups on educational trips to Kenya and Egypt herself.
With a love for the arts and an educational background in interior design, Sheena works diligently to ensure her clients' travels are brimming with authentic, enriching experiences that allow them to connect with local cultures and customs. Spending time in the destination and making regular trips to the countries she specializes in enables her to stay updated on new experiences for her clients. Focusing on Africa, India, and exotic destinations around the world, she has extensively traveled to 49 countries on five continents, establishing on-the-ground contacts and relationships to ensure her clients have truly unforgettable journeys. Following her profound love for Africa, she resides in the beautiful city of Cape Town.
Lauren
Lauren, a graduate in Public Health from the University of Georgia, began her journey in Croatia, analyzing data in Ecology and Epidemiology. Her experience ignited a passion for Europe, where she spent five years as a bilingual English Teacher in Madrid. Lauren's residence in Spain has facilitated extensive exploration across Europe and Northern Africa.
With a love for literature, salsa dancing, and the outdoors, Lauren embodies refined living. Having visited 35 countries, she's dedicated to cultural immersion.
